My Journey...

Hi, my name is Lucy and my motto is:
Sharing is caring and together we can change the world.
We were programmed to live our life from a fear and negativity point of view and that we are powerless beings. . .
. . . nothing could be further from the truth.
The truth is - We have the power within us to make that change. All that is needed is a desire to do so.
Like the Bible says - Knock and it shall be opened - Seek and you shall find.
When we have that desire and urge we should follow it, doors will be opened. It takes courage to take that step from the familiarity into the unknown.
I took that step in 2002 when my youngest son became epileptic (on the day of his 6th birthday). We needed to change his climate from the European wet climate to a dry climate, which took us to Arizona.
In 2002 I had just opened a Health Food Store, my husband had just registered his Computer Business. We also had a house (over 3000sq ft), just bought over 10 acres land with fruit trees, and a garden lot (500 sq ft). Basically we had just cashed our life insurance policy.
We arrived in the USA with 2 suitcases each (we also have 3 other children, then 16,14 1/2,12). Our house in Germany we rented out, but that didn't last too long and the bank auctioned it off, it was the house my dad practically built by himself in 1977. It hurt for a long time and I can't say that I am completely over it yet.
But . . . if I had to choose again - the well-being of my child or material things - the love for my child would win again.
Miraculously he has not had any seizures since we came here. And I am sure our journey does not end here.
